He is a drummer, percussionist, singer and actor who
made an appearance with the Bo Street Runners as a drummer and vocalist on
their Ready Stead Win (1 Track) in 1964.
Nine years later in 1975 he became a member of the
successful group Three Dog Night.
He appeared on their albums Coming Down Your Way and American
Pastime and their last Top 40 hit “Till The World Ends”.
In 1976 he became “Turkey” with Kaptain
Kool & The Kongs who hosted The Krofft Supershow. As this character he also appeared
on The Bay City Rollers Meet the Saturday Superstars in 1978. That same year he played the drums
on the album Ladies on the Stage by Millington.
Branching out in other roles he has played a radical
in Washington: Behind Closed Doors, appeared in an episode of WKRP
in Cincinatti, played the accountant in the movie Xanadu and a
cop in Hard to Kill.
Outside of music he founded and runs the Inner City
Slickers organisation that has ranches in various states where children
work closely with horses and learn to deal with becoming responsible
citizens and confidence building.
