He is a horn
player born in West Orange, New
Jersey, who obtained his music degree from Ithaca College in New York in 1981.
graduating he took on the position of Assistant Principal Horn with the
Sacramento Symphony and followed that by taking the same position with the
New Orleans Symphony.
In 1984 he
became a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where he is the Associate
Principal Horn, also performing with the Boston Pops Orchestra. He has also held the position of chairman
of the Boston Symphony players committee.
During his professional
career as a musician he has taken part in the Colorado Music Festival and performed
with the American Wind Symphony, Empire Brass and the Colorado
