Pianist who
was one of the early members of Ricky Skaggs’ band, and performed on
the albums, Don’t Cheat in Our
Hometown, Highways &
Heartaches, and Waitin’ for the Sun to Shine. One of his earliest recordings was
1975’s Jon Corneal and the
Orange Blossom Special. In
the early 1990s, he was one of the key ingredients of Cornbred,
an electric country band.
Compilations on which he appears include The Essential Ricky Skaggs and Can’t You Hear Me Callin’ –
Bluegrass: 80 Years of American
Music.
