Vocalist who has permanently put her stamp on popular
culture by duetting with Ray Charles—no,
not the Ray Charles—on the theme song to Three’s Company. She was also one of the original
“Dean’s Girls” on The
Dean Martin Show. As a
background vocalist, she performed on Van Dyke Parks’ Song Cycle, Frank Sinatra’s Trilogy, and Olivia-Newton
John’s 1977 release, Making a
Good Thing Better. She is
credited with co-writing “Goodbye For Now” with David Lee.
