He is a singer-songwriter, arranger, producer and
musician born England who often collaborated with Phil Wainman. He released two solo albums in
1974, the first being self-titled and the second called 21 Days in Soho.
4 years later he released
the single "It Takes Two to Tango" in 1978, which reached No. 17 in the UK
chart. Since then he has
concentrated on songwriting and appearing as a studio/session musician or
arranger on works by artists such as Gary Brooker, Duran Duran, Adam &
The Ants and Mocedades. His compositions have been heard on many
soundtracks including The Frog Prince, Spin, Best Laid Plans, Prick Up
Your Ears and That Darn Cat and been recorded by popular artists
such as Cliff Richard, Hello and Brownsville Station. His song "Born To Win" is used in
the USAF Thunderbirds Airshow and other compositions of his including "Let
Me Baby" can be heard in many commercials.
