     Nicholson, David (1953/4-Present)

He is a guitarist and songwriter born in Rutherglen, Scotland, and the brother of the producer Matt Nicholson and the singer-songwriter Hugh Nicholson.  In 1976 he joined his brother, Hugh, in his band Blue and would remain with them as their guitarist and a songwriter until they broke up in 1979.  With them he would appear on their only chart hit "Gonna Capture Your Heart" and work with Elton John on two of their albums.  In 1984 he began working and writing in collaboration with his two brothers on the project and album Radio Heart, where he would work alongside the new wave artist Gary Numan and Elton John once again.  This album released three singles and then no more happened until in 1994 when Gary Numan would be the vocalist on his co-written "Like a Refugee (I Won't Cry)" which was released under the band name Da Da Dang.  Today he is still heard on various Blue reincarnations with Hugh Nicholson and Ian MacMillan.
