She is a pianist born in New York to a musical family where her father is a violist and her mother a pianist. Shebegan to study the piano when she was six and debuted in Town Hall when she was eleven. Her further musical studies took place at the Claudio Arrau School and Juilliard School. She has been a member of Chamber Soloists USA in Australia, toured with Music from Marlboro, a member of the Eroica Trio and has made appearances in many festivals. As a soloist she has appeared in the Backstage at Lincoln Center television series, performed at the opening of the New York Stock Exchange in 2003 and has recorded several CDs.
