He is a drummer who was a member of The Candymen in the
1960s. He joined Atlanta
Rhythm Section in 1970 and was a member of the band until 1978. During that time he co-wrote many
of the group's songs. Working with many other artists he has been heard performing
with acts such as Paul Davis, Al Kooper, Frankie & Johnny and appears
on albums which include his own It’s a Complicated World and also Are
You Ready, Boys From Doraville, Champagne Jam, Dog Days and Underdog
by the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Candymen Bring You Candypower by The
Candymen, Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-nerd by Lynyrd Skynyrd, There
Is Only One Roy Orbison/The Orbison Way by Roy Orbison and Artimus
