Actress and
vocalist who was a member of the Los Angeles,
Japan, and New York casts of Hair
and the Broadway casts of Jesus
Christ Superstar and Pippin. She appears on soundtrack albums of all
three, as well as Divine Hair Mass in
F, which was recorded on 9th May 1971, in tandem with the
Choir of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. From 1971 to 1972, she portrayed
Billie Holiday in Lady Day: A Musical Tragedy at the
Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Chelsea
Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. She also sang background vocals on Todd
Rundgren’s 1972 album, Something/Anything?,
and The Very Best of Todd Rundgren.
