Vocalist from Manhattan, New
York, who cut his teeth singing in groups with
his siblings and participating in children’s theatre off Broadway.
In 1982, he
replaced Harry Ray of Ray, Goodman & Brown on a temporary basis. They performed “Ebony &
Ivory” live with Paul McCartney in 1984. Kevin sang backing vocals for many
years for Luther Vandross.
In 1992, Harry
died of a stroke and Kevin supplanted him on a permanent basis. Billy Brown, Al Goodman and Kevin
released Ray Goodman and Brown Live
in 1992.
They added
Larry “Ice” Winfree to their ranks
and released Intimate Moments and
A Moment With Friends in
2003. Alicia Keys employed them
as background vocalists on 2004’s “You Don’t Know My Name”.
On 4th
February 2011, Billy, Kevin and Larry entertained at O’Rhys
Pub in Naples, Italy.
Kevin is the
CEO of New Image Entertainment and COO of Ray, Goodman and Brown’s
label, Defouvus Music Group.
