He is a
clarinettist born in Ried, Austria, who studied at the Musikhochschule

performed under the conductorship of Claudio Abbado
when he became a founder member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra.

the position of Principal Clarinettist. Performing as a soloist he made his

the Wiener Klavier Trio and the Hugo Wolf Quartet.
He has performed
with other orchestras that include the Graz Symphony Orchestra, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Musicians’
Orchestra of Lower Orchestra and the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic and received
invitations to give guest performances with Concentus
Musicus and also the Berlin Philharmonic
