He is a French Horn player who is a member of the
Netherlands Symphony Orchestra.
Rene has also performed with Pat Metheny &
the Metropole Orchestra and as a soloist with Banda
Municipal Lalin.
In the recording studio he has performed on albums
that include Rosa The Death of a
Composer by Louis Andriessen and Moon Dreams – Rediscovered Music
by Gil Evans and Gerry Mulligan by the Dutch Jazz Orchestra, Revolutions by Jim Hardy and Hardy Mertens
Live at Rodahall - WMC.
In the field of musical education Rene has been a
teacher at the Orlando Festival.
