    Parks, Lloyd

Tenor who was a member of Talk of the Town on their records, “Don’t Be So Mean” and “Little Bit of Your Lovin’”, in 1971.  He went on to join Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes and appeared on their eponymous debut.  In 1973, he recorded with Ann Byers and The Creations, a group that included future Blue Note, David Ebo.  They released a single on the Virtue label, “Cookies ‘n Candy”, backed with “Blues for a Young Girl”.  Lloyd can be heard on the 2004 re-packaging, The Essential Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes Featuring Teddy Pendergrass.  In 2006, he was still playing live dates with The Original Blue Notes, along with fellow alum, Larry Brown.
