He is an oboist, English horn player and teacher who
studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music. As a faculty member at Central
Michigan University since the 1970s, he has been a Professor of Oboe,
Associate Dean and Information Technology Leader. As a performer he has appeared with the Powers Woodwind
Quintet, Warren Wilson College, Swannanoa Chamber Players, Grand Rapids
Symphony Orchestra and is the principle oboe for the Midland Symphony
Orchestra.
