     Reisler, Jerome

    He is a violinist who has performed in the classical, jazz and pop world with a recording career that began in the 1950s.  He appeared as a member of the York String Quartet in the 1950s and/or '60s, the Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra in the late 1960s and Los Angeles Symphony Orchestra in the years between 1974 and 1979 and has been a guest/studio musician with groups and artists such as Cannonball Adderley, The Beach Boys, Glen Campbell, The Crystals, Bobby Darin, Steve Douglas, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Gap Band, Jim Horn, Harry James, Gene Krupa, The Monkees, Harry Nilsson, The Righteous Brothers, The Ronettes, Phil Spector, Tommy Tedesco, Mason Williams and Frank Zappa. Albums he has appeared on over the course of his career have included Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, Man Who Invented Soul by Sam Cooke, Venus Blue by Bobby Darin, Que Sera, Sera by Doris Day,  I Am, Raise! and Faces by Earth, Wind & Fire, The Gap Band, Unforgettable by Johnny Hartman, Sounds...And Stuff Like That by Quincy Jones, Swing with Strings by Gene Krupa, Skinny Boy by Robert Lamm, Memories Are Made of This by Dean Martin, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones by The Monkees, Aerial Ballet by Harry Nilsson, Four Platters and One Lovely Dish by The Platters, It Only Takes a Minute by Tavares, Whisper in Your Ear by The Whispers, Lumpy Gravy by Frank Zappa.
