     Scott, Berenice (26th May 1979-Present)

She is a singer-songwriter and pianist who was born in Paris whose father who is the musician Robin Scott and her mother is a singer.  She travelled the world with her family and during that time also learned to play the piano and compete in singing competitions at school from the age of 7 onwards.

From the time she was 12 she was composing piano works and appeared in concerts and entered even more competitions and appeared in concerts.  She went on to study the theatre at a college in Sussex where she began to seriously concentrate on songwriting.

When she left education she took several jobs and decided to move into session singing.  This would prove a successful move for her and she has since formed her own band and a studio in London.

During her career she has been involved with several successful groups including M and Level 42 and she has just released her solo album Ten Takes as well as featuring on An Innocent Abroad by Phil Gould.  The picture of the baby that features on the front of the “Pop Muzik” sleeve by M is actually from a photograph of her.
