He is a trombonist and sackbut player born in England
and growing up in Horsham.After beginning his professional career he joined the Birmingham
based BBC Midland Light Orchestra as a trombonist.He has performed with the Philip
Jones Brass Ensemble, the Locke Brass Consort, the London Brass, the Bach
Choir, the Albion Country Band and the English Chamber Ensemble among
others, popular groups such as The Art of Noise and Spiritualized, and solo
artists that include John Barrowman, Dame Kiri te Kanawa, George Shearing
and Ana Belen.Appearing on
numerous recordings and TV and movie soundtracks he can be heard on Festive
Brass and Baroque Brass with the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, Silver
Strings Autumn Leaves by the London Starlight Dance Orchestra, Very
