    Silverman, Ralph

    Violinist who co-founded the Gordon String Quartet in 1921 and was a member of the Cleveland Orchestra and a charter member of the NBC Symphony Orchestra under Arturo Toscanini.  He also did some session work, appearing on the Perry Como retrospective Juke Box Baby, The Remains of Tom Lehrer, Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams That’s What Friends Are For, the Tito Puente anthology The Complete RCA Recordings, Vol. 1, and Frank Sinatra’s Trilogy.
