Band director,
drummer and teacher who attended Indiana University and the University of
Alberta and holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and a Master’s
degree in music. In the field
of music education, he has been on the faculty of Red Deer College, Ross
Sheppard High School, and the University of Alberta. Recently, he decided to go back to
school and pursue a doctorate in—what else—education.
He has been
very prolific as a performer, as well.
Artists and groups with whom he has performed include Tommy Banks, the
Edmonton Wind Ensemble, Peggy Lee, the Louisville Symphony Orchestra, and Southern
Comfort. He has also directed a
wide variety of bands and orchestras throughout Canada and the Middle East.
