    Snowling, Mark (16th August 1971-Present)

He is a bass guitarist born in New Zealand.  He started to learn brass instruments when he was 6 years old and he was a member of various bands in New Zealand when he was still young, including the National Youth Brass Band of NZ and the Hastings Citizens Brass Band (NZ).   When he was 18 he started to learn the bass guitar and went on to tour with bands such as Think Lizzy, Wishbone Ash and LA Gunns.  As a performer with UB40 he saw success on the UK No. 1 hit "Baby Come Back".  In recent years he has become a member of the band The Blockheads and plays in place of Norman Watt-Roy when he is not available.
