She is a violinist and teacher who graduated from the
Curtis Institute of Music in 1968.
She was a principal violinist with the Concerto
Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and appeared on the 1987 album Gloria!
Gloria! where they accompanied Benita Valente and The Philadelphia
Singers.
In the 2009-2010 she held the post of Associate
Concertmaster with the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and was also
violinist with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra in 2010.
In the field of musical education she has been a
teacher of strings at Benfield Elementary and attended at the “String Camp
for Kids” in 2006. She also gives
private tuition and has published the journal article on performing string
