     Spalding, Daniel

Daniel Spalding's resume includes stints with the Romanian State Philharmonic, the Houston Symphony Orchestra, the London Mozart Players, and the Hungarian State Opera, although he began to leave his legacy as the founder, Conductor and Music Director of the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra in 1991.  His eclectic musical taste led him to help establish the George Antheil Festival, eventually recording some of that composer's works with the PVCO on the Naxos label in 1999.
