He
is a British virtuoso trumpeter and teacher who received his musical
education by "borrowing" his brother's trumpet until he got his
own, and then beginning to play at school, winning the Brass Prize in his first
term there.He joined the
National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and later studied at the
Guildhall School of Music in London.After graduation he spent 6 months
with the BBC Training Orchestra, performed with the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra and spent the next seven years with the Sadlers
Wells Opera (the English National Opera) before moving into the studios and
working on countless TV and film scores.Working with classical and popular
artists alike he has accompanied the English Chamber Orchestra, CollegiumMusicum 90, Philip
Jones Brass Ensemble, The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, The Parley of
Instruments, The Taverner Players, Tafelmusik, the King's Consort, the Academy
of Ancient Music and the
English Baroque Soloists.Dame KiriteKanawa,
