He is an oboist who began to
study the instrument when he was eight years old. He took his formal studies with J.C.
Gayot and Guy Laroche
and graduated when he was twenty.
He started his professional career with the National Academy of
Toulouse before joining the Orchestra of the Opera of Lyon in 1993 as a
soloist. Since 1998 he has
taught at the Paris Conservatoire.
