    Turner, David D.

    Violinist who collaborated with Solomon Burke, John Denver, Neil Diamond, Lalo Schifrin, Frank Sinatra and Jesse Colin Young.  He appeared on two big live albums in the ‘70s, An Evening with John Denver, and Hot August Night, by Neil Diamond.  In 1978, he appeared on American Dreams, by Jesse Colin Young, and the following year, on Frank Sinatra’s boxed set, Trilogy.  You can also hear him playing violin on Solomon Burke’s At His Best! and Let Your Love Flow, Neil Diamond’s In My Lifetime and Play Me:  The Complete Uni Studio Recordings… Plus!, and Lalo Schifrin’s soundtrack to the Dirty Harry film, Sudden Impact.
