Violinist who started
his studies with his father Wolfgang, who is with the Israel Philharmonic,
and went on to attend the Yehudi Menuhin School
of Music, the Royal College of Music, and the Tel-Aviv Rubin Academy of
Music.
He performed
in the Army String Quartet in Israel, as well as the Concerto Soloists
Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Chamber
Orchestra. In 1987, he became a
member of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and has since become the
Assistant Principal and Second Violin.

In recent
years, he has been one fourth of the Dafna String
Quartet. On 18th April
2009, they performed at the Tel Aviv Museum in a program that included
works by Antonin Dvorak, Leos Janacek, and Bedrich Smetana.
They also performed Dvorak’s “Piano Quintet in A major,
Op. 81” in tandem with Emanuel Ax on 26th June 2010 as
part of the Chamber Music Series of The Israel Philharmonic.
