Vocalist who
impersonated Mick Jagger on the Stars On/Starsound medley, “The Greatest Rock ‘n’
Roll Band in the World”. It
appears on the 1982 album, Stars on
Long Play III. In 2001, he and
long-time friend Hans Hollestelle co-formed
Flight 505, a Rolling Stones cover band. Out of this band grew another Hollestelle-Vermeij project, Arties Curtain Climbers. Both Peter and Hans have also been
active doing commercial work for Jaap Eggermont, the producer of Stars On, with Peter
frequently being called upon to do his famous impression of Sir Mick.
