She is a singer-songwriter often listed as Cindy
Walker, which is easy to mix up with the acclaimed country
singer-songwriter who died in 2006.
She has worked in the recording studio with many
artists in the music industry that include Alabama, Gregg Allman, Clint
Black, Jimmy Buffett, Clarence Carter. The
Commodores, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Etta James, George Jones, Mac
McAnally, Ray Stevens, Randy Travis, Shania Twain and Trisha Yearwood.
She can also been heard on the compilation albums America
Will Always Stand, The Fox & The Hound 2 and Worship from
the Heartland and the soundtrack of Hoot.
As a songwriter she co-wrote “Almost Over
You” which has was a hit for Sheena Easton.
Currently she is a member of Kira Small’s band,
The Smoo Crew.
