    Washington, Charlton (21 August 1959 – Present)

Vocalist from Detroit, Michigan, who was born into a musical family and was singing onstage with his brothers by the time he was twelve years old.  He attended Mackenzie High School and then matriculated to Wayne County Community College before embarking on a music career.  He sang in a variety of groups, including 5.0, Lestim and Rabone throughout the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s.  In 1999, he unleashed his first solo recording, entitled “In the Mood” on his own Top of the Line label.  He joined Misty Love and the Motown Sound in the mid-2000s and they worked the club circuit in Detroit and New York.  In 2007, he was gobbled up by The Spinners, who were looking for a new lead singer, and he continues to perform with them to this day.
