He is a singer and keyboardist born in Dallas,
Texas. Active in the music
industry from the 1970s he has performed with artists and groups such as his
own Goodie, The Gap Band, DJ Rogers and Yarbrough & Peoples. As a solo artist he released his
own album Call Me Goodie, which produced the single "Do Something"
and also appeared on the TV show Soul Train in July 1983. Albums by other artists that he
appeared on include all of The Gap Band's, Love, Music & Life by
DJ Rogers, Condition: Blue by Tony Mathews and Best of Yarbrough
& Peoples. He is the cousin of the singer-songwriter LaShaj, who he
encouraged to pursue music.
