    Wildman, Lisa

Actress, flautist, guitarist, pianist, teacher and vocalist who studied at the Bigler/Lloyd Watts camp with intentions of becoming a flute teacher (which she has) but was encouraged by Carol Bigler, Valerie Lloyd-Watts and Dick Perry to pursue vocal lessons.

She has since become a multiple threat who dabbles in a variety of genres, including bluegrass, children’s music, classical, country, folk, and pop-rock.  Her repertoire ranges from Bach to The Beatles to Eric Burdon & the Animals to June Carter Cash to Roxanna Lea Glass to Hank Williams.

A member of two trios, Group W and Peanut Butter Jellyfish, which have both released self-titled albums, Lisa is also the Principal Flute of the Abington Symphony.  In 2007, Peanut Butter Jellyfish received the Parents’ Choice Approved Award on the strength of its songs about tolerance and the environment, and Lisa was accepted by The Philadelphia Singers, just in time for a pair of concerts at Carnegie Hall.

She spent much of 2008 and 2009 on the boards of the Delaware Valley Opera Company, in Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, and the Mermaid Playwrights’ Theatre in their production of the stage play, What’s Wrong?.

Since then, she and her two trios have had a busy schedule of live performances at the Doylestown Art Fest, Doylestown Brown Bag for the Arts, and the TK Club.

Lisa also plays special events and weddings and gives private lessons in flute, piano, and theory.
