He is a multi-instrumentalist
born in Los
Angeles and is the
son of the composer John Williams and the brother of Joseph Williams who
was a singer of the group Toto.
He studied drums under Joe Porcaro and studied music theory. He attended Berklee College of
Music from 1976 to 1979. He
played drums for the group Air Supply from 1995 to 2003. He has also played on albums and
tours for artists including Don Henley, Cher, Tina
Turner and Crosby Stills & Nash.
He has released solo albums under his own label, Andromeda. He plays most of the instruments
that are heard on his albums.
