    Wofford, David (1954 – Present)

Arranger, bassist and songwriter who briefly supplanted Jim Kurzdorfer in the jazz-fusion outfit, Spyro Gyra.  In 1980, he appeared on the album, Laurie and the Sighs, playing bass on “Midnight Love”.  Other albums on which he appears include Laura Nyro Live at the Bottom Line and Peter Gordon and the Love of Life Orchestra’s Geneva & Extended Niceties.  (He appears on track eleven, “Extended Niceties”.)  David and Michelle Wofford co-wrote a pair of songs, “It’s You” and “That Look in Your Eyes”.  He is also credited as an arranger on the Sandy Barber album, The best is yet to come.
