    Evoy, Larry

He is a drummer and singer born in Canada.  He was a founding member of the group Edward Bear in 1966.  He received a special award to acknowledge airplay of more than 100,000 times each of "Close Your Eyes", "Last Song", and "You, Me and Mexico" by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada in 1995.  He left the band in 1974 and had a semi-successful solo career as well as concentrating on Scientology.  He had a minor hit with "Here I Go Again" and some of his solo recordings were featured on the compilation album The Best of the Bear.  He is currently semi-retired.
