    Fishar, J.

    Author of 16 cotillons, 16 minuets, 12 allemands and 12 hornpipes may or may not be the composer of “Fisher’s Hornpipe” contained therein.  He also may or may not be James A. Fishar, a ballet dancer and music director at Covent Garden’s Theatre Royal in the 18th century, or Johann Christian Fischer, a contemporary of Mozart.
