    Kindt, William

He was born in nineteenth century America and discovered a piece of sheet music written in 1882 called "The Great Rock Island Route".  He re-wrote the piece in 1904 and called it "The Wabash Cannon Ball".  The song has been recorded by many people ranging from the Carter Family to Johnny Cash, and was brought to fame in the 1940s by Roy Acuff.
