Born in Germany, he was a composer, pianist, arranger and author. He studied piano and composition and
has made several classical compositions along with the music and/or lyrics
for many popular songs. These
include "Heartaches", "Just Friends" and
"Down the River of Golden Dreams". He died in New York City, aged 56.
