    Lowery, Donny R. (8th May 1950-Present)

    He is a songwriter born in Florence, Alabama.  Since 1980 he has had many songs recorded including the hits "Old Flame" by Alabama, "Say What's in Your Heart" by Restless Heart and "Stand a Little Rain" by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.  He also studies fish science as an ichthyologist.
