Owen, Randy Yeuell (13th December 1949-Present)

He is a guitarist and singer-songwriter born in Fort Payne, Alabama and lived on a farm near Adamsburg.  While still at high school he teamed up with his cousins Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook and they sang around Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  In between the singing he also worked at jobs that included brick-laying and farming.  They became the successful group Alabama, and got their first recording contract in 1977 and first Top 40 hit in 1979 with "I Wanna Come Over".   He has co-written many of the band's songs and is a Grammy Award and Country Music Association Award winner with the other members of the group.
