He is a songwriter and guitarist who was a founding
member of the German band The Blue Moons which were formed in Goettingen in
1962. In 1966 Wolfgang Jass joined
the band and together they co-wrote songs including the hugely successful
"Sun in Jamaica"
for the Goombay Dance Band. He
has also written songs for many artists including G.G. Anderson, who was a
former member of The Blue Moons, and Matthias Reim.
