    Williams, Terry (6th June 1947 - Present)

One of the co-founding members of The First Edition, along with Kenny Rogers, with whom he co-wrote the song "Mamma's Waiting" for their Something's Burning LP.  Rogers later re-recorded it for his 1978 solo effort Love Or Something Like It.  Terry was born into a musical upbringing in Hollywood, California.  His mother, Bonnie Lou Williams, sang with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.  Williams now owns and operates his own recording studio, which specializes in Christian music.
