The band was formed in December 1972 and originally
known as Ace Flash and the Dynamos.
The members were professional musicians from other bands and the
group was popular on the pub circuit in Britain. The song "How
Long" is believed to have been an instrumental influence on Steely
Dan and Boz Scaggs. The band
eventually moved to
America
but disbanded in 1977 with most of the members joining Frankie
Miller's Band.
