They were formed in Orange,
New Jersey in 1961. They were originally
known as The Blue Angels and the members had previously been with The
Starlets. Their major hit was "My Boyfriend's Back" in
1963. They also sang backing
vocals for stars such as Neil Diamond, Jackie Wilson, Frankie Valli, Frank
Sinatra, and on the No.1 single "Lightnin' Strikes" by
Lou Christie. They still
perform along the East Coast occasionally today.
