    Angels, The

They were formed in Orange, New Jersey in 1961. They were originally known as The Blue Angels and the members had previously been with The Starlets. Their major hit was "My Boyfriend's Back" in 1963.  They also sang backing vocals for stars such as Neil Diamond, Jackie Wilson, Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, and on the No.1 single "Lightnin' Strikes" by Lou Christie.  They still perform along the East Coast occasionally today.
