This 12-member brass ensemble was founded in 1981 and
is one of an elite group of professional brass ensembles in the world. The members are taken from local music
school faculties and are chosen for their creativity and technique.
Renowned for their broad repertoire and exciting concert performances they
give renditions of many genres of music including big band sound, Latin
music, religious work, bagpipes accompaniment and much, much more. Making more than 150 appearances
that attract over 75,000 people each year, they are at the forefront in
their field. Making over 20
recordings they have gained critical acclaim on an international basis, and
they have received further recognition for their annual appearances at the
opening night of the Colorado Ballet and the Denver Film on the
Rocks at the Red Rock Amphitheatre, and many attendances at music
conferences.
