This duo, named after the muse of lyric poetry and music,
are Risa Carlson and Martha Masters who studied
together at the Baltimore's
Peabody Conservatory of Music.
They came to the public notice when they won the National Guitar
Summer Workshop Competition in 1994 and have since toured much of the United
States. Their first recording was released
in October 2005.
