This ensemble
based in Saint
Louis, Missouri, was co-founded by the composer/arranger,
music director and teacher Neal Richardson.
They have performed
concerts of historical early music at various venues within the United States and are homed at Musikhaus
in Saint
Louis. Some of these performances include 19th
century vocal music - Musica Secreta, Scottish chamber music - Music in a Scotch Humor,
Christmas in Tuscany (Natale Tuscano), Love Songs
from Italy, Christmas Baroque Pops, the period string quartet piece Mirabel, Elizabethan music – The Poet and the Queen and Follies, Folias
and Foolyas featuring music by Handel, Lully and Corelli among many others.
In 2007 their
work was recorded when they were appearing as performers at the Saint Louis
Baroque Festival. Their members
have also taken part in several early music festivals.
Some of the
many musicians that have appeared with the ensemble include Neal Richardson
on harpsichord and organ, the violinists William Bauer, Brandon Christensen
and Rachel Gries, the guitarist and lutist Jeff Noonan and the vocalist Nancy Bristol.
