     King's Brass, The

Often referred to as Tim Zimmerman & The King's Brass, this ensemble was established by him in the 1980s.  Made up of musicians from the length and breadth of America it comprises three trumpeters, three trombonists, a tubist, a keyboardist and a percussionist.   It prides itself in its performance of "the best in sacred brass music" and is seen in over one hundred concerts, and in international appearances, performing music that ranges from classical to jazz and covers many centuries.  Making at least 10 CDs their recordings include Americana, Christmas in Europe, Best of Brass and Organ, Joyful, Praise & Worship and Backwards Glance.  Also appearing with other artists they can be heard on recordings such as A Thousand Voices with J. Marty Cope.
