    Moscow Symphony Orchestra

This orchestra was established at the Stas Namin Centre in 1989 with Konstantin Krimets as the conductor and the members made up of  graduates from the St. Petersburg. Kiev and Moscow Conservatories.  Since it started is has given many national and international performances in concerts and as part of festivals.  In 2001 Ogan Duran'narc became the Head Condcutor and almost immediately led four successful concerts in the Tchaikovsky Hall and the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Other conductors include Arnold Katz, Igor Golovchin, Dmitry Yablonsky and Alexander Anissimov.  In 2002 they gave a series of charity concerts in commemoration of international terrorism victims.  They have premiered recordings by modern composers including Pavlova, Schnittke and Eshpai and from they have made nearly numerous recordings that include works by classic composers, film soundtracks and music for cartoons and computer games.  Known for their symphonic rock recordings of artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix, they toured Great Britain with the Electric Light Orchestra - Part II on their The Moscow Symphony Rocks tour and the concert video made it into the UK charts.
