This ensemble is a Scandinavian guitar trio who were
established in 1997. They
perform many different arrangements of mainly Spanish guitar music, which
they have transcribed themselves, that weren't written to be played
on guitar. Their first project
was Suite Iberia by Isaac Albeniz, which was originally a piano composition, and
it was premiered in Copenhagen
in 1998. A recording of it has
since been released in 2003.
Apart from performing in international chamber music festivals they
have appeared live on Danish and Swedish television and radio and taken
part in a masterclass with the pianist Alicia de
Larrocha. They are currently
working on several other Spanish masterpieces by Manuel de Falla and
Enrique Granados.
