    This traditional German Christmas carol hails from the Rhine Valley region of Germany.  Listed on the CD of Maurice Andre on Amazon.com as "Als Ich Meinen Schafen Wacht (Echo Carol)", it has also been performed by the Vienna Boys Choir on their box set Little Drummer Boy.
